Price: $400
Students will perform the show The Laramie Project by Moisés Kaufman. This show follows the 1998 murder of gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. Based on real-life interviews with residents, these transcripts tell the stories of people who lived at the epicenter of one of the nation’s most heinous anti-gay hate crimes. This class culminates in a final performance in June.

This class is for students who have previously participated in acting classes and are ready to perform a full production. Students will use their acquired acting techniques for this class since the focus will be greatly on character development and rehearsal for the show. We will put on a fully realized one-act show to be performed in June.

This class is designed to give teens experience working as a designer on a theatre production. Students will work to technically support the productions (both youth and teen) this semester.
Kids Improv (6-8 years), Tuesdays

Students will play theatre games and explore improv exercises that prepare them for a staged performance. Students will create characters and learn to make quick decisions using imaginative play. No prior experience required!
Youth Improv Acting (9-13 years), Tuesdays

Price: $350
Students will learn how to make quick choices and take on crazy characters through improv exercises and games. This class is great for beginners or veterans of the stage.
