Intro to Tap (7-13 years), Mondays

This class is an introduction to tap dance. No prior dance experience or tap shoes required!
Broadway Dance Class (7-13 years), Mondays
March 15-June 7
This class is an introduction to musical theatre dance that incorporates musical theatre choreography from various styles.
Teen Tech Class (13-19 years), Tuesdays
Session 1: March 16-June 8
This class is designed to give teens experience working as a designer on a theatre production. Students will work on set, costumes, lights, and props for the Youth and Teen Production shows. They will be learning valuable leadership skills as they manage the major technical elements for a production. Students are required to be available for the performances in order to help film, run lights, and run sound. Students who take this class have the opportunity to work backstage on future shows for work- study tuition credit.
Youth Production Class (10-13 years), Tuesdays and Thursdays
March 16- Production the weekend of June 5th
This class is for students who have previously participated in acting classes and are ready to perform in a full production. Students will use their acquired acting techniques for this class since the focus will be greatly on character development and rehearsing for the show. We will be working on a series of short plays in over to perform a full show that is COVID safe. All rehearsals will take place in-person and the performance will be released as an on-demand video. Students may take this class in conjunction with an acting class.
Junior Creative Drama (6-8 years), Wednesdays
March 17-June 9
Students will learn clowning and puppetry. They will play theatre games and explore theatre exercises that prepare them for a stage performance. Students will create and use costumes and props and see what characters come forward from imaginative play.
Youth Improv Acting (9-13 years), Wednesdays
March 17-June 9
Students will learn how to make quick choices and take on crazy characters through improv exercises and games. This class is great for beginners or veterans of the stage.
Adult Beginner’s Dance Class (19+ years), Wednesdays
March 17-May 5
This class is geared toward actors who wish to improve their dance ability. Each class will include a vigorous warm up and stretch, plus the basics of musical theatre movement. Class will feature choreography from both classic and contemporary musicals. A fun way to gain confidence for your next audition!
Teen Production Class (13-19 years), Schedule based on Actor Availability
Auditions March 20, Performance May 15-16
This class will allow teens to dive into some serious acting in preparation for a virtual performance. All rehearsals will be in-person and the show will be made on-demand as a video at the end of the rehearsal cycle.
