All classes take place on the campus of Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy. Classes meet at the Cove Fine Arts Center on ENC's campus.
Classes are divided into three major

Winter Teen Production 13 and up

Rehearsals based on Actor Availability with performances March 6 at 7pm and 7 at 2pm
Junior Acting, Ages 7-9
Fall Session: Wed, 5-6pm Sept.11-Dec.11
Spring Session: Mon 5-6pm or Wed, 5-6pm
March 9-June 8
Children will learn all about acting skills in this class. Stage presence, projection, and character portrayal are all the focus in this class. Students will work on scenes, play theatre games, explore theatre exercises that all train the young actor to perform on stage. They will present a short piece at the end of the session to show their work.
Youth Acting, Ages 10-12
FALL/SPRING: Wed. 6:15-7:45pm, $275
Fall Session: Sept.11-Dec.11
Spring Session: March 9-June 8, or March 11-June 10
This is a great class for children who are new to acting, or for those who want more skills and practice. In addition to learning basic skills like stage presence and projection, students will be introduced to auditions, monologue & character development. Students will present examples of their work at the end of the session.
Youth Production, Ages 10-12
Tue&Thurs, 6-8pm; $425
Fall Only, Sept.10 - Jan. 18 (performances on Jan.17-18)
JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH!
This class is for the student who has had participated in acting classes in the past and is ready to perform a full production on stage. Students will put skills into practice through auditioning for parts, portraying characters, taking direction and performing a final play on a large stage. Class sessions will be focused on rehearsals for the play and character work.
Teen Tech Class, 13 & Up
Tuesdays 7-9pm; $250
Fall session: Sept. 10-Jan. 19 (performances on Jan.17-18)
This class is designed to give teens the taste of what it's like to work as a designer on shows. Students will work on set, costumes, lights, and props for the Youth Production while also learning valuable leadership skills as they manage the major technical elements for the show. While it is not a requirement, students are encouraged to be available for the performances in order to run set changes and light cues.
Teen Social Theatre, 13 & Up
Tuesdays 7-9pm; $300
Spring Only: March 10-June 9
This class is about teens expressing themselves through theatre. Students will work on devising a script based on real experiences for a final performance. Often students don’t feel heard. This class will provide the opportunity to process social issues through theatrical means. We strive to make theatre a safe place and we ask that all teens that participate in this class demonstrate active respect for each other’s stories.
Cabaret Performance Class, 9&up
Sat 9-10:30am; $250

Perfect for students who long to stretch themselves in the area of vocal performance. Learn differences between singing in a musical production and singing for a close-up and personal audience. Learn how to interact with audiences, become successful storytellers, and build personal confidence!
Junior Musical Theatre Dance Ages7-9
Sat 9-10am; $250
Winter Session: Jan 19 - March 14
This class is an intro to musical theatre dance. The class builds on dance steps in order to have all students know the basics of musical theatre choreography in various styles. The final class will include a showcase, family and friends are invited!
Youth Musical Theatre Ages 10-12
Ages: 10-12, $275, March 10-June 16
Spring Session: Tuesday, 6-8pm
This class is built to teach young actors how to bring their song and dance to life on stage. Students will work on connecting to characters and telling the stories through various musical scenes. Students focus on song interpretation, while building the scene with acting, song and dance. The final class will include a showcase. Family and friends are invited!
