Class Locations
All classes take place on the campus of Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy. Classes meet at the Cove Fine Arts Center on ENC's campus.
In the case of incliment weather, South Shore School of Theatre follows Quincy Public School closings.

Class Sessions
This Fall we are dividing our classes into TWO SESSIONS. Each session is 6 weeks long. Please click on a class to see the exact dates of the session!
5:00-6:30pm September 15- December 8 Price: $300 Students will learn clowning and puppetry. They will play theatre games and explore theatre exercises that prepare them for a stage performance. Students will create and use costumes and props and see what characters come forward from imaginative play.
5:00-6:30pm September 13- December 6 Price: $300 This class is an introduction to musical theatre dance that incorporates musical theatre choreography from various styles.
October 12-January 22 Performances the weekend of December 11th and January 22nd Price: $300 This class is designed to give teens experience working as a designer on a theatre production. Students will work on set, costumes, lights, and props for the Youth and Teen Production shows. They will be learning valuable leadership skills as they manage the major technical elements for a production.
6pm-8pm September 14- Performances the weekend of January 14 Price: $400 This class is for students who have previously participated in acting classes and are ready to perform in a full production. Students will use their acquired acting techniques for this class since the focus will be greatly on character development and rehearsing for the show. We will be working on a series of short plays in over to perform a full show that is COVID safe.
6:45-8:15pm September 15- December 8 Price: $350 Students will learn how to make quick choices and take on crazy characters through improv exercises and games. This class is great for beginners or veterans of the stage.
Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm September 13-December 6 Price: $300 Students will learn elements of set painting, prop creation, mask making, and more for the Youth Production!
Schedule based on Actor Availability Auditions March 20, Performance May 15-16 Price: $450 This class will allow teens to dive into some serious acting in preparation for a virtual performance. All rehearsals will be in-person and the show will be made on-demand as a video at the end of the rehearsal cycle.
