Students meet once a week to hone their acting skills through scene study, audition technique, and ensemble work. Students will audition for a play towards mid-session and perform the play at the end of their session. Students are expected to commit to extra rehearsals toward end of session -- a schedule will be sent to parents in advance.
Students should choose which night they wish to participate and will be assigned a production to perform in based on this choice. (In other words, all Tuesday students will produce one show while all Thursday students will produce another). Students will meet once a week for an intense -- but fun -- night of character study and straight acting technique. Students will learn audition skills and will hone their acting chops through rehearsals for a final production. All students are expected to attend both Tuesday and Thursday during week 1 when they will audition for their shows and then are also expected to commit to each night of the week during the final week of rehearsals.
